This conference will identify how digitalisation reshapes the exercise of rights linked to EU citizenship, at the risk of undermining its substance, a phenomenon exacerbated by the rise of artificial intelligence. It will also examine how the European Union and its member states are attempting to contain these developments to avoid the risk of destroying the pluralism inherent in our democratic societies.
